VIDEO GAME SERIES

Back in my childhood, every year there was a different version of the video game series NBA Live.  The earlier versions weren’t that great since they were two-dimensional and all the players scrolled across the screen as they ran up and down the court, but it was still a fun game to play.  My friends always wondered why I used to always play as the Cleveland Cavaliers.  The reason was there was a spot at mid-court where I’d have the point guard Mark Price stand and he’d always make the three-point shot from there.  After a few days of playing the game, I’d gotten good enough to beat the computer handily any time I wanted, which was one of the problems with sports games, but I still couldn’t beat my friend all the time, not until I discovered that three-point shot.  Eventually, after experimenting, I found out that I didn’t need to be using the Cavaliers or Mark Price.  Any player on any team always made that three-point shot.  I think it must have been because of a computer glitch.  Updated versions of the game never had that same glitch, so I can only imagine that it got fixed.  I actually think the game’s still getting new, updated versions every year now as we speak.
